About Lucy Day
Lucy is an award-winning author living in Iowa. Originally from South Carolina, she can’t shake her love of chasing lightning bugs, watching birds, and saying y’all. She’s been reading books and writing stories as long as she can remember and now writes novels chock full of humor and heart.
Lucy writes big-hearted love stories about feisty women, swoon-worthy heroes, and the messy and imperfect ways they come together. She believes that everyone can have a happy-ever-after—and life is so much better when we lift each other up. When she’s not writing, you can find her refinishing old furniture and attempting to keep her orchids alive.
Lucy’s awards include the 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Award for Series Fiction (for the Jasmine Falls Love Stories series) and the Independent Publisher (IPPY) Award, Silver Medal in Romance (The Almost Lovebirds, 2023 and One Sweet Holiday, 2024).

About Jasmine Falls
Jasmine Falls is a fictional town set in the lowcountry of South Carolina. As a teen, Lucy spent her summers in that part of the state, where she fell in love with the landscape and the people. It’s a place with warm summer breezes, lots of fireflies, and hot days that leave you looking for the nearest swimming hole.
Jasmine Falls is a mash-up of a few towns that Lucy visited over the years, but the Congaree National Park is very real. It’s a unique place that is a character all its own, serenely beautiful and full of surprises—just like the small towns around it.
And that warbler in The Almost Lovebirds? It’s real, too. And still a bit of a mystery.
